It started off pretty much the way you did: http://github.com/rbarooah/friendfeed-scala-binding/tree/master What's there works, and that covers most of the API except media posting and Real-Time. I've learned a few things about making these bindings in the meantime and will be revising and completing it over the next month or so. Blatantly advertising my own work, you may be interested in this friendfeed binding I am working on. It started off pretty much the way you did:
